Two Days and Counting

All I have to do is 2 more days of work, and then I get to enjoy

16 (count um) sixteen days  of vacation time with my FAMILY

I'm not sure what I'm looking more forward to

Eight days camping at Yogi Bear or

Five days of shopping at the worlds longest garage sale.

But for now... as they say

"I'm gonna hit the shower" and get this thing started.

"IT'S A GOOD LIFE"

Weekend fun

Due to the fourth falling on a Wednesday this year, I was forced into taking a 5 day weekend.

When your forced into a 5 day weekend,

the best thing to do is

go camping!

I'm not quiet sure if an outdoor flat screen and lounge chair

really constitutes "camping" but that's what I'll call it for now.

You know how its traditional to have a Mexican fiesta

 on your first night camping?

Well I had to break the rules just a little and

wait till my niece and nephew arrived with their family

2 nights later.

But Fiesta we did.

Yes it was HOT.

like a 102 degrees HOT.

So I made sure I had other people cook for me.

While I sat in the shade, with a cold drink and laughed it up with friends.

Some how the heat just didn't seem to bother me so much.

One of my favorite spots to go  "camping" 

is at Jellystone park.

 its more like a resort

with 3 pools, 1 swimming beach, water slides

fishing lake, and a Boo Boo shop,

complete with soft serve ice cream.

 

Seriously if its going to be 102 degrees

this is just where I wanted to be.

Happy Fourth of July

Have a safe holiday.

It's going to be a scorcher here in the Midwest

so stay hydrated.

I'm lucky enough to be taking a 5 day weekend
