Sundays with Suzy

Sunday mornings I like to ride my bike from home
and meet up with my BFF in Frankfort
(when shes not gallivanting around Europe)

we have to park our bikes and walk since its just to hard
to carry on an in depth conversation while biking!

We discuss everything thing that is on our minds.
Well not everything, we know not to get started with the whole
George W. and Obama thing!

Its very therapeutic for the soul
walking and talking with your BFF!
Together we seem to be able to solve all life's little problems.

I would tell you what was discussed this week but.......
I would have to kill you

Yogi 2010 Better late then NEVER

YES WE HAD A GREAT TIME!

Jen, Cadence, John and I went in a day early (Friday)
I like doing it that way it gives us a chance to get setup and relax a little
before everyone comes.
On Saturday Jen, Sean the 3 girls, Grandma Di (Sean's Mom) and Neal all came in.
The first night we are all together I had a "Mexican Fiesta"
really its just Tacos, Salsa (sorry about the cilantro guys) and margarita wine coolers.
but everyone seemed to enjoy it!

mmmm "hobo pies" made over the campfire....thanks Jen

Cadence sporting her new YOGI hoodie

Then off to the out back for some golf cart hide and seek.
Grandma Di says that was her favorite part of the Yogi experience ...the golf cart,
I tend to think Cadence would agree!

Early morning coffee with Grandpa

Then off to the flag raising with Yogi and Cindy Bear

Love this goofy girl!

We all thought it would be fun to go up to the arts and crafts pavilion
and make some kind of a little craft since it was raining out.
Well OK maybe Cadence didn't think it would be fun!

So Jen decides she will make Cadence a little BOO BOO Tshirt.

..... OHHH wouldn't it be cute to put her "footprint" on the Tshirt
since she can't actually color it herself.
(again I don't think Cadence thought it would be so cute)

I hope she doesn't remember that I was the one holding her
while her little foot was painted purple.

poor baby girl

just so you know Jen and I weren't the only ones involved in the whole foot print thing.

(some of the girls did their projects with out any crying at all.)

One of the days we were there they had a "Deal or No Deal" tournament in the game room.
So of course we all went!
Alexis was leading the tournament with 200 or so tickets.

We all watched anxiously  to see how the other players would do

in the end some little  bratty boy beat her out by just a few tickets.
But she didn't mind to much
she still had over 200 tickets to buy "stuff" with.

The two little girls went the hay ride for the first time by themselves!

Well...sort of
Who's crazy mom is following the hay ride?

Of course there were many trips to the pool and beach.
Yup love this little girl too!

awwwww

sighhhhh...... to be young and cute!
