Yes I do sleep well at night!

Thank you very much.

Saturday Steven competed in a Jiu Jitsu tournament "again"
and he won "again"
and he received  a few medals "again"
and he won some money  "again

Which brings me to the point that YES I do sleep sound at night knowing he's in the house
and with one loud scream from me he could have that masked assailant in a
Choke hold, Arm Bar, Guillotine, Leg lock, Arm lock.........
so fast he wouldnt have time to TAP-OUT
So all you Bad guys be fore-warned!
I have a fighter in the house and I'm not afraid to use him.
Love ya Steve!

(oh yeah I can't forget I have John and Pokie too!)

It's a Good Life!

ZOOM ZOOM

Since the weather has been getting nicer here in the Midwest
I have been driving the Cobra.

Now mind you this is a 7 year old car!

But almost every single day some stranger comments
on what a nice car I have.

• Walgreen’s Sunday...guy rolls his window down as I'm getting in and tells me how nice it is

• Tuesday.... I go on a listing appointment and the Seller is standing out side grinning ear to ear as I pull up and tells me how much he loves it, I say "you don't think its to LOUD" and he says “Oh absolutely not.” We bonded instantly and I walked away with a listing. he he he

• I go to do a final walk thru, now mind you I have been working with this couple since November. But they have only seen me in the Escape, Mr. buyer comes in and says to me "are you the only one here?” I say yes! he says “OMG is that your car? " he now has a whole new respect for me.

I won't even mention the "Camero" that was flirting with me on the highway yesterday!

The first month I owned the car I came out of a store to find a couple "peering" in my windows...we talked and I walked away with a new friend/buyer who the next year bought a $225,000 house from me.

I come home at the end of the day and ask John if he wants to hear any “Cobra stories” and proceed to tell him what has happened that day.

(minus the Camero Flirt)

When I bought this car back in 2003
I started out thinking I was going to get the Jaguar S type
(one of the lowest models Jaguar makes)
I liked the way the front in looked.

But I was badgered persuaded convinced by a husband and 2 teenage sons that I would
be much happier in a Supercharged Mustang Cobra!

They were right

Now I can't say for sure none of this would not happen if I was driving a
7yr old S type....but I'm betting NO

and I know for sure it doesn't happen when I drive my Escape

Come on people 5 year old Ford Escapes need love too!

Judge not lest .....

 Ye be judged!

I have been fortunate enough to be able to drop off some food
several times to the local food pantry.

The girls inside are always very kind, sweet and thankful that
my family has made a donation, and truthfully I feel pretty good after doing so.

(There are no real requirments to go in and recieve food
all you have to do is prove that you live in New Lenox)

But... last week after I made my donation I was getting back in my car
when I saw a man coming out of the back door with his "groceries"

I kid you not he was probably 100 pds over weight!
damn why I did I have to see this?
In my minds eye I had been picturing some cute little kids with their bellys full
or some family being able to eat a nice spaghetti dinner on me.

BUT NOOOOO

of course my first thought was Damn he isn't missing any meals!

And I started to get all judgemntal and saying why I'm I doing this any way.
But after a few days of thinking about this I decided it wasn't my place to judge
just take the food in and believe that some deserving people are eating today!

I guess big Boys need to eat too!

I just hope he choose some of the Special K cereal I dropped off
and left the Pecan Sandies for the kids.
