Since the weather has been getting nicer here in the Midwest
I have been driving the Cobra.
Now mind you this is a 7 year old car!
But almost every single day some stranger comments
on what a nice car I have.
• Walgreen’s Sunday...guy rolls his window down as I'm getting in and tells me how nice it is
• Tuesday.... I go on a listing appointment and the Seller is standing out side grinning ear to ear as I pull up and tells me how much he loves it, I say "you don't think its to LOUD" and he says “Oh absolutely not.” We bonded instantly and I walked away with a listing. he he he
• I go to do a final walk thru, now mind you I have been working with this couple since November. But they have only seen me in the Escape, Mr. buyer comes in and says to me "are you the only one here?” I say yes! he says “OMG is that your car? " he now has a whole new respect for me.
I won't even mention the "Camero" that was flirting with me on the highway yesterday!
The first month I owned the car I came out of a store to find a couple "peering" in my windows...we talked and I walked away with a new friend/buyer who the next year bought a $225,000 house from me.
I come home at the end of the day and ask John if he wants to hear any “Cobra stories” and proceed to tell him what has happened that day.
(minus the Camero Flirt)
When I bought this car back in 2003
I started out thinking I was going to get the Jaguar S type
(one of the lowest models Jaguar makes)
I liked the way the front in looked.
But I was badgered persuaded convinced by a husband and 2 teenage sons that I would
be much happier in a Supercharged Mustang Cobra!
They were right
Now I can't say for sure none of this would not happen if I was driving a
7yr old S type....but I'm betting NO
and I know for sure it doesn't happen when I drive my Escape
Come on people 5 year old Ford Escapes need love too!
I'm Just Saying
