I created a couple of Divas

OK I promise this may be will be the last post of the "Sister Shoot".

On day one of the shoot both of the Sistas were a little unsure,

and for the most part took direction very well.

 I have to admit I got some really good shots.

Especially of sister Golden Hair.

Very Pretty don't you agree?

Oh.. and I just have to say on the morning of  day one. She says

"I'm not going to wash my hair today I don't think it needs it"

and she was right.

BUT on day two,  which there wasn't even supposed to be a day two.

She washed and styled her hair,

AND kept a mirror near by.

OK I'm ready.

This is what I'm seeing thru the camera lens as I make adjustments.

Divas I tell you, Divas!

OK sisters just act natural and smile.

Again with the mirror. Really?

I look back at the pictures from the weekend of the photo shoot

( all 568 of them) and I laugh out loud,

and thank God for Sisters.

The Power of the clicker

The remote and the tripod were the two key components
 in the Sister photo shoot.
Well, those items plus the camera.

I'd set up the tripod....check the lighting, composition,

and snap a picture to see if it was all correct.

The camera responds pretty quickly to the "clicker".

It makes it easy to be able to take
pictures and still be in the shot.

 Is this thing working?

 I was at the wrong angle, so I handed the

clicker to Sister Golden hair.

Nice job Sis, now hand me back the "clicker".

This is where it starts to go horribly wrong.........

She claims the

POWER of the clicker took her over.

I have to admit I do see something evil in her eyes.

 

 I just might have to agree with her.

 It does poses some strange power.

Golden Girls Gone Wild

As I said yesterday I spent the weekend

in Wisconsin with my Sisters.

Where we terrorized the town of Wausau

running rampant through the streets.

Looking for the perfect spot to have our

"Sisters" photo taken.

Shots of the back of your head,

always a great alternative as you start to age.

 

The weekend before the planned "Sisters Shoot"

I found these Red Hats at a garage sale,

at $1.00 apiece I just couldn't resist.

The phrase:

"You would of had to of been there"

So applies to the fun we had with those silly hats.

As you can see we had one little problem that day.

 We couldn't stop laughing long enough to get

the perfect shot.

 

A special Shout out to my Nephew Mike

for carrying my camera equipment and tripod around

for me all day.

In honor of Mothers Day

this Sunday,

i heart faces is running a photo contest.

 Celebrating all of the women and girls in our lives with a theme of

“Hey Girl!”

the entry photo has to include the face of a woman or girl.

When I saw this I knew exactly what picture I would submit.

I've just come back from a weekend with my sisters.

Where we did a little photo shoot of ourselves.

It has probably been 15 years or more since we had our picture

taken together, and that was a picture of us at the kitchen table at Christmas.

In fact we have never had a professional, semi professional

photo shoot taken together. EVER

It was high time we had one done.

So I took my fancy dancy camera, with my fancy dancy lens,

 remote clicker and tripod and off we went around town

snapping pictures, and giggling like a bunch of school girls.

This was my favorite shot of the three of us.

Prom 2012

 

It really wasn't Prom it was the

RE/MAX awards banquet.

Its a chance to put on your fancy clothes and wine and dine

among other Realtors with their fancy clothes on.

Your probably saying to yourself

"whats up with the hair?"

His excuse is it was the 70's

My excuse is... I did go to a stylish salon

and request an up do.

Something soft and beautiful.

Maybe with some little wispy curls

on the side, you know the kind that look

a little messy but also sexy?

Well what I ended up with was a

bouffant.

Even I knew that wasn't good.

 The minute I got home and stepped in the door my

younger brother sees me,

AND

right in the middle of my prom hair emotional breakdown,

he starts laughing and poking fun at me.

(Little brothers can be such a pain that way.)

WELL

 I couldn't get to the  bathroom fast enough.

I jerked out all 300 Bobbie pins

and hit the shower.

I then took the blow dryer to it.

Pulled it back in a few barrettes and off to prom I went.

(Makes you wonder why he ever asked me to marry him huh?)
